The Potential of You and Me

There is a new Death Cab cd out!
Yum.

These past few days I have realized that after dying to get out of school, I miss it.
A lot.
Thank you, irony.
I wish I could write an essay.

Looking forward to LW on Saturday!

Broken Spatula

Why yes, Carol-lee
I believe it is about time. :)

Have you ever wondered if certain things are absolute, or just relative? For example, (and sorry about the example, it just happens to be the way I think about things like this :P) could you truly make the best fried egg that had ever been made? Is there even such a thing as the best fried egg ever? Or, is the quality of the fried egg relative to each person's opinion? Certain people prefer certain shapes, colours, and tastes, but does that effect the overall "ranking" of the egg? If you could actually make the best fried egg of all time, the odds would be astronomically tiny that you, out of everyone that ever fried an egg, made the best one. Obviously you would have no way of knowing it, but imagine if you could! That would be quite a feeling! But, I suspect it is in reality all relative. There are no set guidelines that eggs are qualified against, unfortunately.

If I did make the best fried egg ever, I definitely would not eat it myself, I would give it to someone. How amazing would it be to make someone a fried egg, and be able to say, here. Here is the best fried egg ever made in the universe. You had better enjoy this a lot.

Cold December

Facebook has become quite possibly the lamest creation on the face of this earth. It has evolved from a simple device used to keep in touch with friends, to a quiz ridden, application filled brain murdering scum machine. This evil site encourages friends to compare each other, turning them into judgemental time-wasters. I believe that facebook has become a scourge upon an extensive number of the world's youth, becoming a source of much procrastination, and also leading to addictions and serious effects on student's marks. This site has gone from a useful and entertaining conversational tool, to a harmful, productivity decreasing degradation to humankind. I believe that this decision can only help me in the future, and I am glad to be rid of it. Enjoy your day.

I really hope someone reads it. :)
I won't miss it.

Sleeping Through the Static

"But maybe I've been better off with things that can't be locked at all"
-- Jack Johnson "Losing Keys"

Does anyone think he might be singing about materialism?? I was listening to this song today and this line jumped out at me, and I thought that it would be pretty cool if he was talking about things that can't be locked away (like feelings) being more important than material things.

wow this blog is practically on fire now! haha

The Office

What an amazing two days. Nothing like getting stranded in the middle of a blizzard to make you realize how much you love your friends.

On a side note, the book of Romans is amazing.

Typically terrific.

"Large coffee, cream no sugar please."

I really need to say that less often. But it's just so good......
