Broken Spatula

Why yes, Carol-lee
I believe it is about time. :)

Have you ever wondered if certain things are absolute, or just relative? For example, (and sorry about the example, it just happens to be the way I think about things like this :P) could you truly make the best fried egg that had ever been made? Is there even such a thing as the best fried egg ever? Or, is the quality of the fried egg relative to each person's opinion? Certain people prefer certain shapes, colours, and tastes, but does that effect the overall "ranking" of the egg? If you could actually make the best fried egg of all time, the odds would be astronomically tiny that you, out of everyone that ever fried an egg, made the best one. Obviously you would have no way of knowing it, but imagine if you could! That would be quite a feeling! But, I suspect it is in reality all relative. There are no set guidelines that eggs are qualified against, unfortunately.

If I did make the best fried egg ever, I definitely would not eat it myself, I would give it to someone. How amazing would it be to make someone a fried egg, and be able to say, here. Here is the best fried egg ever made in the universe. You had better enjoy this a lot.
